After the Deadline for Firefox

Firefox is almost the only web browser that I use. Initially I began using it because it has extremely effective pop-up blocker capabilities. I am amazed at the number of pop-ups I get when I use Internet Explorer or some other browser. It is annoying to say the least.

Another reason why I really like using Firefox is the free plugins. The Cooliris Plugin allows you to transform a picture gallery into a 3D experience. [not with the glasses, but just check it out and you will see what I mean] Feedly for Firefox allows you to turn the simple [and sometimes not very user-friendly] Google reader into a very user-friendly interface for your blog and podcast subscriptions.

Today while searching through my Feedly I found a video post from www.wordpress.tv that shows how to use a new Firefox plugin that I just installed. This is created by the developers of WordPress so it really caught my attention. It is called After the Deadline for Firefox and it is FREE as with most things that are connected to WordPress.

This is a very useful plugin that helps you spell check within the context of your writing no matter what website you are on including Twitter, Facebook and the back-end of your WordPress website. Very useful and pretty amazing. Check out the links below for download links and a short video showing how it works. Remember to download Firefox first!

On a funny note, while writing this post the plugin told me that WordPress was spelled wrong. Funny since it was created by the developers of WordPress, but anyway…
